  • Grilling 101

    April 4th 6:00 Pm


    Backyard Barbecue's Chef Emily will get you started on your grilling journey. Learn the basics for barbecuing on a charcoal and gas grill. In this class you will learn to cook a caesar salad, cedar plank salmon, and burgers.

    This is a series of classes starting with Grilling 101 and expanding to Grilling 201 and Grilling 301. You do not need to attend 101 to attend later classes. The idea is that anyone can hop into the grilling mix wherever they see fit. However, if you are new or do not know how to get started, then you can progress through the whole series!

  • Big Green Egg Class

    April 21st 1:30 Pm


    This class is geared toward beginners and designed to teach the basics of the Big Green Egg. Participants will learn how to smoke pork, grill chicken and salmon, sear steak, and fire some pizza while sampling the food after the demonstrations.

  • Grilling 201

    Backyard Barbecue's Chef Emily will get you started on your grilling journey. Learn the basics for barbecuing on a charcoal and gas grill. In this class you will learn to cook pizza, steak (ny strip), spatchcocked chicken, and a dessert.

  • Pork Ribs and Chicken Class with Chris Marks

    June 22nd 2:30 Pm


    Learn the entire smoking process, topics covered include types of smokers, woods, charcoals, and common mistakes when smoking.

    We will discuss and prepare (3) different regions of BBQ spareribs and all students will taste and sample each for their liking. Taught in the class is how to spatchcock chicken and how to brine and to prepare to smoke on a Green Egg, pellet, or charcoal smoker.
