Grilling Class Schedule & Private Party Information

Here is a list of our upcoming grill classes. We will be constantly adding new classes so please check back or sign up to be on our e-mail list and we will notify you when we add new classes. Don't forget our kitchen is available for your own private grilling class or party. Thank you for your interest!              

Saturday September 13th

We will be holding our second annual ribfest in conjunction with the Village of Wilmette's Birthday Party. This year we will have 2 categories-ribs and chicken. All proceeds will again go to JDRF. Call the store to sign up. Space is limited so please hurry!

Thursday September 11th 7pm

Sam Dean from Burhop's will be back for another lesson in grilling seafood. Learn some simple recipes and techniques that will make you "King of the Grill" Cost$50

Thursday September 18th 7pm

Join Chef Phil Siciliano fora Mexican grilling class. Menu items include two kinds of salsas, beef steak ranchero and catalin salad.  Cost $50

Thursday September 25th 7pm

Join us for our second series with Oakton Community College. This Barbecue Series features 3 different classes starting on 9/26 with Joe Spera from Al's Market hosting a Steak Class. Joe wil show you where we get the different cuts of steak and we will grill them on both charcoal and gas. The second class in the series is a Texas BBQ class with Dr. Porkenstein a.k.a. Alex Cothell from the Barbeque Factory in Kenosha. This class will focus on brisket and sausage and be held on 10/16. The third class also features Alex and is focusing on Turkey. Get ready for Thanksgiving as this class is on 11/13. You can sign up as a series or individually by contact Linda Mockenhaupt at 847-635-1466

Join us for our second annual Cubs-Brewers trip to Milwaukee. See the Cubs in action at Miller Field! Trip includes round trip bus ride from the store, bleacher ticket, food and beer on the bus. Cost $100

Saturday September 27th 10am

Chris Marks from Ace of Hearts BBQ will be back for a ribs and chicken class. Chris is an 8time American Royal champ and spokeperson for The Good One line of smokers and grills. Cost $60

Saturday September 27th 7pm

Join us for a BBQ and Zin Dinner. We will feature some great slow smoked BBQ paired with 3 great Red Zinfandels(the ultimate BBQ wine). More details to follow.  Cost $75

Thursday October 23rd 7pm
